ONE DAY DRIVING TRIALS
SUNDAY 6th SEPTEMBER 2009 AT CHARLCOTTE FARM, CLEOBURY NORTH, WV16 6RR
Directions: From the A458 Bridgnorth bypass, take the B4364 towards Ludlow. Keep on this road for approx 7 miles until you reach Cleobury North. Take left turn signposted Stottesdon. Charlcotte Farm is on your left hand side. Dress Code: Marathon Attire for whole competition
Commencing 9.30 a.m. prompt. Closing date for entries: 28th August 2009 In accordance with WDDC rules

NO TELEPHONE ENTRIES NO ENTRY ACCEPTED WITHOUT PAYMENT. 50% extra for late entries (If accepted) Cheques made payable to Wolverley and District Driving Club. CLASSES Entries will determine and define classes. No distinction will be made between Novice and Open Competitors or between singles and multiples. Vehicles with pneumatic tyres are permitted. DRESS CODE: Marathon attire for whole competition.
Time table (Provisional first competitor times)
9.30 a.m. Dressage test BHDTA Pre Novice 2008 10 am to 12.30 pm Competition C Obstacle driving (Cones) Final Round to the Millennium Cones Competition Hoops and bars permitted as per WDDC Trials Rule The track width for all classes 125cm + clearance 30 cm 1.00 p.m. Competition B Marathon – 3 sections. 5 or 6 obstacles To include water Shortened course for small ponies No person may take part in competition B more than once either as driver, groom or passenger.
The Club reserves the right to cancel, divide or amalgamate any classes. After the closing date for entries entry fees will only be refunded if class is cancelled.
The Club reserves the right to refuse or cancel any entry.
Objections must be made in writing to the secretary within 30 minutes of the results being posted, together with a deposit of £10 which will be refunded if the objection is upheld.
AWARDS Clear round rosettes in Competition C and points towards the Millennium Cones. Place rosettes in Competitions A and B and overall rosettes in each class. A rosette to all Competitors completing competition B.
The organisers will endeavour to publish results on the day. If however this is not possible, results and rosettes will be sent by post as soon as possible.
INSTRUCTIONS TO COMPETITORS
1. Please park trailers/horse boxes at least 3 metres apart. Overnight parking is available.
2. Competitors may drive cone course (comp C) at any time between the stated times in no specific order.
3. In competition B grooms and drivers must wear a properly secured safety hat and they are recommended to do so in Competitions A and C.
4. Competitors must report to the marathon (Competition B) start at least 5 minutes before their appointed time.
5. There will be 10 minute rest halt between sections B and E of the marathon.
6. Time cards must be presented to the timekeepers at the start and finish of sections A, B and E of the marathon.
7. Tabards and timecards must be handed to the timekeeper at the end of section E.
