<< Click here to select another news article or event 08/08/2009 WOLVERLEY & DISTRICT DRIVING CLUB this event is cancelled Due to the ammount of rain we have had this event has been cancelled, recheduled dates to follow Showing, Mini Trial and Millennium Cones Weekend 8/9th August 2009 Lunnon Cottage, Rushock, Droitwich. WR9 0NP ( WDDC Signs will be placed on A448 & A442 ) SATURDAY START : 11.00 am All classes to be judged for safety, fit and cleanliness of whole turnout. Exercise and show vehicles and harness judged on equal merit. Classes Class 1. In hand. Will be split for height according to entries. Class 2a. Ride and drive Ridden section. The rider need not be either Whip or groom. Class 3. Exercise vehicle, you will be required to do a small show, including a figure of eight, rein back, halt and salute. Class 2b. Ride and Drive Drive section. Class 4. Private drive traditional type vehicles only. Class 5. Concours d' elegance any vehicle And or a drive out for those who wish to go around the lanes. Directions will be given on application. Distances to suit all tastes, 4 to 12 miles. Please tell someone when you are going out on the drive and approx how long you will be. In addition to the showing classes, on Saturday, there will be a round of the world renowned Millennium cones. By popular demand there will be a Grooms cones competition too. SUNDAY START 10.00 am Classes AM Dressage, test BHDTA Pre-novice 2008 Please phone for dressage times on the 30th July in the evening Walk the obstacles and practice driving them. Walk the redesigned cones course. [ no practice allowed!] PM Mini one section marathon of 4/5 km and 6 obstacles. Followed by:- Cone driving incorporating a round of this years millennium cones. You will be given times for the afternoon when you arrive in the morning. A road drive will be available with directions for those who wish to drive out on quiet country lanes as on Saturday.
